Lori gave me this book on Saturday and it has really touched me. The back says “A different sort of book for everyone except those who have given up completely (and even they might secretly enjoy it)
It’s true. It’s a beautiful book about process and waiting. And patience in the waiting. Something I am learning a lot about. I’m not really good at it. I want to be. I also want to be perfect. Already. Not tomorrow. Not eventually. Why is it so hard, when from the beginning of life you hear “nobody is perfect.” Yeah. Then why am I working so hard for it? Geez. I am remembering that there is still in the waiting, and that sometimes the most beautiful transformation happens in the still.
